Anita Junge-Hammersley. Born in Chile, she has been painting since 1998. Her work reflects a sensitive and alert spirit. Events that have ruined the lives of thousand of persons around the whole world have driven her to find light, even in the darkest of places. Through the light of peace, she tries to soften the fear, pain and suffering.

Hamid Ayoud. Born in Sudan, Hamid Ayoub graduated from the Sudan University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Arts, specializing in Textile Design. Everyday sights and situations shape his work. He has presented in many exhibitions in Sudan, Niger, France, United States, Holland, England and Canada.

Claire B. Cohen. Born in Israel , Claire paints at her home studio in Ottawa and shows her work in a variety of locations in the Ottawa valley. She participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions since 1979. Her work is displayed in public buildings and is in private collections in Canada and the U.S.

Carlos Tamayo. Born in Colombia, Carlos depicts reality and proposes themes that find a conceptual dimension in the mind of the viewer. He has preferences for oil and acrylic, techniques which have allowed him to explore different kinds of forms, textures and concepts. He has participated individually and collectively in numerous exhibitions in his country of origin.

R. Bello (Héctor-Hernán Rodríguez). Born in Colombia, he was a Plastic Arts professor for 17 years. In his native country, he organized 38 exhibitions and produced more than 70 videos of art and science. His styles are realism, surrealism and abstract art.

Ángel Augusto Páez R. Born in Colombia, he is an autodidact painter with inclinations towards abstract art. He represents through colour the feelings and experiences in space and in time. For him, art is the way to regain our mental health, through self understanding and understanding of the world in which we live.



Gladys Carillo. Born in Colombia, Gladys Carillo is an accomplished artist, actress, writer, musician and social activist. Having formally studied painting in her native country, she has since diversified her talents. Recently, her art work has been exhibited in the Gatineau area.

Daniel (Víctor Fuentes). Born in El Salvador, he graduated in Performing Arts from Algonquin College. For him, arts have always been a stage, a light, a forum, a controversy, a way to share culture, a bridge to bring people together, a unique way to deal with personal and social issues, a powerful tool to promote justice and peace.
